We are just getting into car racing from karts and everyone at the track that we will be running said go with vortec heads they are legal. I have finally found a good set now the problem is we have to run a cast iron intake, it doesn't have to be a stock intake just cast iron. My question is where do I get an intake for these heads? Or do I get the heads drilled for the old style intake and if so what is the best iron intake to get.

Thank you racer9

Try calling the folks at Scoggin-Dickey (www.sdpc2000.com). That's where I got mine. Around $150, I think.

I don't think you can find it on their webiste tho.
