i have a one wire delco atenator that i would like to run and i want to put it on the passanger side cyl. head using the accessory holes in the head. where do i find a bracket or mount for this. i am running a sweet ps pump off the block and a short water pump. i have only found brackets for log water pumps. will the universal rod and spacer work?? thanks for any help.

If you alternator is of the small 3 lug type, and you can afford it, CV products makes a sweet mount that is as rigid as it comes. We used to used the usual cobbled together trash, and would watch the belts do the shimmy shake, and come off now and then. With CV's mounts, belts do not even wiggle. I am sure there are others suitable, but I will use nothing else.

both speedway and midwest sell an alt mount for short water pumps. it mounts on the intake just to the pass side of the thermistat housing. works great for heads that dont have accesory holes.
