I recently purchased a Dart Little M used block. Had it bored 4.155 to build a 406, but got to thinking I would build a 434 (4" stroke) instead. Anybody got any pros and cons? Or things to watch out for? I don't won't to make a big mistake here. Thanks for any and all replys.

Other than the fact that the deck height is too short for a 4" stroke crank , and you will not be able to get a long enough rod in the engine to get a decent rod/stroke ratio ...... you own a darn good block !! I'd stick with the 406 combo in the short deck Little M block , and switch to a tall deck Rocket or aluminum block if your going to go with anything over a 3.750" stroke .
