Not too long ago I read an article about how header collector length can have a good effect on torque output. This article said that most collectors are too short and a benefit can be found by making them longer.
Anybody know if this is true?
If so, what length would you start with?

Yes it is very true ! Using a merge collector will gain a bunch for you in most application's as well . Email me in a couple of week's , and I'll give you some exact dyno figures on collector's . We have several different merge collector's , in different length's , that we are going to dyno test on our house car SB2.2 engine . I'll be happy to share the result's with you . We have done plenty of testing in the past on collector's . But my brother is now making our own , so we can experiment with just about everything imaginable .

Thanks! I'll be getting in touch with you in a couple weeks.
For now I think I'll just try adding 6" to the length of my collectors...
