My fuel pressure never changes on my guage. Why is this? I was reading in the Steve Smith book and it says that it should idle at 1-2 lbs and straights should be 10-12 and corners 5-6 lbs. Mine never changes!!! Could this be the reason for my serious over heating problem.....Any help would be appreciated!!! Thanks in advance.

I beleive the only way to get those pressures is by using a throttle bypass if using a mechanical pump or if you are using a belt drive pump. I always had 9 psi no matter if I was idling or accelerating. My car always ran fine but was rich after idling for awhile. I guess some of the alky was being pushed by the seat.
