I was just wondering if anyone had any good ideas on the best way to mount a holley 4412 on to a Quadrajet intake. Thanks

Canton makes a nice phenolic spacer that is adjustable front to back so you can put the two barrel over the secondaries on the Q-jet
intake.

Chevy makes one for their marine engines.
It is alum. Check with a local marine repair
shop. They may have one laying around.
I bought one at a swap meet for $20.00.

Thanks for the info guys. Does anyone know of a good air cleaner to buy? I need one with a dropped base to fit under the hood. I'm running a 4412 Holley with a one inch phenolic spacer on a Quad. intake. Thanks again. 34Racing

If your rules allow, you might want to look into a Flow control air cleaner. This is the air cleaner that has the tongue that hangs down on the lid that reduces intake turbulance. Also since it is not made out of metal the air going in the engine should be somewhat cooler.Available for carbs with or without choke tower.

check with k&n about a filter and base. it will cost a little more but it is reusable and they have alot of applications. also will increase power somewhat.
