I just installed a thermostat on my street stock to get it up to temp quicker, but have rediscovered some reasons why I may have removed it in the past- being a pain to ensure that the cooling system is full of water. My question is this: how many and what size holes do I drill into the thermostat to allow some bleedover when it's shut. I seem to remember running a trick like this back in the old days.
