Does anybody know why we can't turn over 6000rpms? We've heard that it is the cam is degreed in wrong. any info would be nice.

what size cam are you running some wont turn that much .

Please give me more info.What engine? What cam are you using? comp ratio.rear gears? total car trans or man?let me know I would love to help

Most any cam will turn 6000rpm, If you are going to degree a cam you have to do it to cam specs not just what somebody thinks it should be.

Worn springs will usually cause a high end miss. If a cam is that far degreed out you would probably notice it thru out the revs not just at 6000 rpm's

I've never had any luck getting LT-1 springs to turn any more than 6000

could be more than just the cam you have a rev control ignition.

Make sure you have the correct rotor in the dist. And the terminals are brass not aluminum
