I am about to purchase a '91 model 350 chevrolet engine. Can I use the same parts that that are on the older model(pre'86) 350s, such as distributor, water pump, and exhaust manifolds?

Everything is the same but the intake bolt pattern. The later blocks also had no fuel pump provisions.

Don't forget you get a different flywheel pattern with the later (one pc. rear seal)
motors as well.

What year models don't have fuel pump provisions? My rules say that I have to run a mechanical fuel pump.

I've seen some as early as 90 that had no hole for the pump rod.
