What do you guys think between camel hump heads or Bowtie heads is there a big difference or is it a waste of money to buy the bowtie's. Thanks ahead of time

There is a huge difference between any camel hump head and a Bow-ti head . If you can use Iron Eagles , I think they are about as good as you can get for the price .

Any Stock head or Bowtie's are the only heads allowed

Vortec's typically flow better then bowties and are cheaper. You can buy them new without valves and with a little machine work they will support 2.02 intakes and 1.60 exhaust. I believe they are called L31 heads.

If I get enough sponsorship this year I thing I will go with the bowties. Cant get vortecs because of the rules. Does anyone know what cam would go best with those heads. Should I use a Holley 2 barrel or a modified q-jet. I have a torker II intake currently. 3/10 mile track. Thanks for any replys.

If you can get someone to build you a good quadrajet then thats what I would use. They are alot bigger than the 500 2 barrel. The 4412 2 barrel is a great carb but I would use the larger carb if allowed.
