I run a KSE tandem pump, fuel log and a 800cfm carb. We keep things pretty rich, which for Alky it is OK since the engine will not lose power as a overrich gas engine would. You need to see what what pressure is at the end of the straight. We like to see about 6-7lbs on the gauge while my foot is still in it and only hitting 9lbs when I lift. Note: at idle I show no pressure on the gauge which is connected to the fuel log.
Watch your plugs. Since alcohol burns slowly a dentonation problem is not likely but fouling is. We run close to the stock heat range for the heads.
