How is the best way to find out top engine timing?Full advance I guess it would be?

The best way , would be to put your car on a chassis dyno (cheaper than engine dyno). Start with your timing set at what ever your engine builder suggests . From there you can change timing either direction . Watch your HP numbers while you change your timing , and set it where you make the most HP . Too advanced , you loose power , too retarded , you loose power . It's simple to find out where you need to be . If you don't know of a chassis dyno in your area , look up www.dynojet.com You will find a listing of all the chassis dyno's in the US . Odds are , there will be one close to you .
