I currently run a 403 olds but I have just started and can't say I have had alot of success. On all olds you have to keep them cool or they will overheat bad. Also they tend to keep alot of oil in the topend I was told to drill out the oil passages in the intake valley to help get the oil down. They are real torquey motors havn't gotit up to high rpms not sure how it would do. I've currently have a complete 350 and a 403 block forsale if you are interested.

I drive Oldsmobile on the street but I would not race one. I've heard they do have overheating problems on the track. They do have a lot of torque because they are factory 6 inch rod motors, but they don't rev as well as a SB chevy. I would just use a chevy 350, you can get more power for your money from it, Olds parts are generally a lot more expensive than Chevy.
