Can anyone tell me about oil coolers, I just got one and I would like to know if it is a GOOD idea to put it on my chevy?

Any time you drop the temp in your oil, your doing your engine a favor. That is one reason we are running Cramac, it does exactly that. A cooler is a good idea, especially in those long features.

I would add an oil temp gauge first. If your oil isn't getting above 230 then you probably don't need a cooler.
