I'm considering getting some Harland Sharp roller rockers in 1.5 (8ea) and 1.6 (8ea) ratios.
At the risk of over simplification, which ratio would work better for the intake and which ratio for the exhaust?
Here's my spec's:
462 heads, 2.02 & 1.60, pocket ported, mild runner porting
.540" lift 258 dur. I,(.050"), .558" lift 266
Holley 2 barrel,
1 5/8" headers.
Also, are Harland's a good brand?

The main thing that the upper ratio rockers do is open the valve sooner. With 1.6 on intake and 1.5 on exhaust, your engine will open the intake faster and close the exhaust slower, which will build cylinder pressure. You can get too much of it. The setup really has to work hand in hand with the camshaft.
