I'm using Dart Eagle 64cc. Have 11-1 Dynagear pistons, high lift cam and am having a clearance problem. Exhaust side valve is hitting the piston. Don't know much on the block, know it has been decked. It is possible that it is 0 decked. Is there any way to check for 0 deck? Are there other things that could be causing this besides my cam or deck? Thanks for any response

RINO, are those eagles the 2.08 valves? if so the pockets of the pistons can only clear a 2.05 valve and nothing can be done to fix the problem. You will need to take the pistons out and have them fly-cut.....this makes the valve relief bigger to make room for the 2.08 valve.......I won't get into anything else at this time. If you are running a smaller valve than a 2.08 post what you are running and what the cam specs are............
Also you didn't state the bore size of this motor.........a 2.08 in a 4.155 bore is okay. But a valve that big in a 4.030 bore is no good........the valve is too close to the cylinder wall and shrouds the valve not letting air/fuel around this side of the valve face....in a small motor you are better off with the small valve to let the motor breath.
