Does anyone have the math formula handy for the cubic displacement of a motor?
bore X pie X stroke = CID ?????
I HAVE FORGOTTEN how to figure it out, and I'm in need of doing some math......Thanks

Jeff...forgot...it is set up to calculate a flat top motor....so if you want to check a dome engine....all you have to do is subract the dome size in cc from the head volume(cc) and then enter it into the head (cc) and you will get the correct compression rate for that combo.....hope that helps.

Jammin, I clicked on the thing to down load.
then it asked me if I wanted to run open it at it's present location, or save it on a disk...........I opened at present location.
It took about 4 minutes downloading......then I couldn't find the thing in my computer.......
I went back and started all over but this time I saved it to a disk........I formatted the disk and it down loaded just fine to the disk............then my computer asked me what program I wanted to open and run this with.............It gave a list and I didn't know what the heck I was looking at so I just clicked on the top one........then when I tried to open and run the thing it told me Windows 32 can't perform this function......
I don't know what windows 32 is.......I have a newer computer, with windows 98........
I won't clutter your site up with all this computer talk.......If you can help me that's GREAT.......... if not I will get my sister to come and show me what I'm missing.
She is a computer teacher, I just hate asking her for ANYTHING..........LOL I hate owing her pay backs........

You will have to unzip it first....you need a program that will uncompress the zip file like Winzip or PKunzip....then when you unzip it, you will see the setup.exe file...you click on it to start the setup, then the program will install.

I think the free down load programs are going to be great.......once I get the understanding to use them properly......

Thanks again, Jeff

And thanks cas23, I still know how to use the pen and paper........this is my perfered method.........Jeff

Jammin, THANKS........AND THANKS AGAIN..
I went and down loaded winzip and even managed to work the thing to get the compsession calculator to work........
I could have NOT done this without your help.
And you saved me a few bucks on the winzip, that is just part of the reasons this is such a wonderful site. Advice on everything..
I learned some more today, I'm always happy when that happens.........
THANKS AGAIN Jeff
