Does anyone run 434's in modifieds & if so what gear would you use on a 1/4 mile high banked oval?Would overheating be a problem?Just thinking it would be an awesome ride!

4.185 bore and 4.00 stroke crank is a common set up for a 434. If its a stock block wouldn't those clynder walls be gettin thin?

434 is a 4.155" bore (400 .030) with a 4 inch stroke...

cid = bore x bore x stroke x # cyl x .7854

I would recommend the dart little m or iron eagle blocks for this combo...money well spent, clearanced...you won't be sorry!
