The Powder Puff at Thunder Valley was a blast! All the women did a great job! Angie was first, I came in 2nd, Brenda, third. Deb was actually first but being a driver, she was DQ'd officially-but she really did smoke us NON-drivers. If we would have had a full 20 laps I was planning on taking it-
Had a blonde moment on the start, Angie blew by, then this streak of the Blue 22(Jason's Car)came flying by...there went Deb!
Brenda was driving with a handicap-a very sore arm from the accident she was in, she passed me then I passed her back, and Carrie, bless her heart, didn't get good info from her hubby on what gear to run in...BAD MIKE!
The only injuries sustained were the bruises from the darn seat belts! No crashes, this was a good thing!
BUT WE HAD A BLAST AND WE ALL PLAN ON DOING IT AGAIN!

Sweet Cheeks wanting to be a driver now!

WOOO HOOOO!!! I'm ready Screamin! I had a car owner ask me if I wanted to drive next year-guess what my answer was???
I'm ready to race with the guys too! I think we'll scare them though! LOL
Yep, let's go for it-or maybe we should have a ladies league like they do in North Carolina!
Dreamcatcher-you are so right, I'm now driving my vehicle like I'm racing! It's addictive all right!
As long as I'm racing, I want to win some MONEY! Tee hee!

Cool, a women's league would be great, but then the guys would get a little ****ed that we want to race with them, and they wouldn't want to race with us because it's the women's league
I can't wait until next year
Let's Go RaCinG!!!!!

I have been watching u gals posts. And my suggestion if u gals want to race with just ladies,go to the promoter of the track where ever it is u want to race and ask them for a powder puff class every race night or every other.I am not saying u are not welcome in the same race as me on the contrary my daughter is a better driver than me most days and I would race just as close to her as any man.It is just a suggestion.I beleive that more women would race with women than race with men.And therefore attract more women racers. just my two cents

Good idea, but after awhile just like all other places they no longer call them powder puffs, and say you can't race in them. Have to race with the more experienced guys.

I agree, I think more than one Powder Puff a season is a good idea. I personally don't want to race with the guys. I don't have the desire or the experience, but yet I also like racing and would love to be more involved. We don't have the transportation for more than one car so the Powder Puff was the one chance I had. I would love to have more opportunities in the future.

Hmmm, yes, it would be good experience to race in the Powder Puff's more often, but I would soon want to race against the guys so I could get MONEY! LOL
The women's league in North Carolina is all women but they still get money and points...
The same rules apply, but it's all women.
I think I will race go karts until they close up, and then HOPEFULLY, there will be something set for us "rookie" women drivers by next season.
I have to laugh, but I think some of us women drivers could run with the guys pretty good, if not better.
What do you think Screamin??? LOL
LET'S GO RACING!!!!!!

I'm up for a women's division. It was a lot of fun. Maybe we can find enough women and get someone to start one. We need to talk a little harder to Mason.

If we had our own division, would we be eligible for money? Money's good.
