saturday was supposed to be play-day at N.C.A. Speedway...we all show up and they are in the process of building a new wall! turns 3 and 4 had no wall at all! so the racers and fans were sent home... they could have been considerate enough to let everyone know about this in advance. another thing...they widened the turns and there was still dirt piles in the middle of the track. ok, I had to get that out. I feel beter now.

we had a similar thing happen at brownstown speedway last year. it had rained ealier in the day, but later the sun came out and was looking like we could race. i live about 10 minutes from the track. about 4 o'clock i called and asked if we were racing. they said yes. after myself and many other bomber drivers showed up the track promoter cancled the show. not because of track conditions, but because only five or six late models were there. this was also the last race of the year for us. dont feel alone Arkie racer.
