I've seen far too many bad crashes in sprints over the years.
Most recent that sticks in my mind was Fred Rahmer & Kevin Gobrecht getting together coming out of turn 2 at Lernerville 2 years ago. End result, Rahmer flipping off the back stretch, down the length of the back stretch & into the woods. Fred received a bad concussion, but he was very fortunate to come away with just that. The car was gathered up in a dust pan practically, it was a bad one.

Two years ago @ Paragon Speedway in Paragon,IN some guy caught the right rear of another car and the car flipped numerous times along the wall with the throttle stuck. The bottom of the car struck the flagmans box and the flagman had to bali out. Then the car landed on its side with the thottle still stuck spinning around on fire and the car shot back down the front strech with the green light still on. The driver was hurt but bad enough that he couldn't ever get back in a sprin car again.
