posted April 18, 2000 06:21 PM I have heard that many people dont actually scale their cars. Is this true, if it is, then how do you know the weight distribution on the car? I realize that some of these cars run tortion bars, but isnt weight distribution still critical?

SCALING IS IMPORTANT IN THE BEGINING.ONCE THE CAR IS SET,IT CAN BE BLOCKED INSTEAD OF SCALED WHICH IS A HELL OF A LOT EASIER AND QUICKER. ALL IT TAKES ARE SOME 2X4 BLOCKS CUT TO HEIGHT. THIS BLOCKING CAN EVEN BE DONE AT THE TRACK IN CASE A FRONT AXLE GETS KNOCKED OUT AND SCALES ARE NOT AVAILABLE. >>> THANKS JIM.
