UDTRA AND SPEED CHANNEL SIGN MULTI-YEAR DEAL
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
WOODSTOCK, GA - The United Dirt Track Racing Association announced today
that they have signed a multi-year package with the SPEED Channel network
air selected UDTRA Pro DirtCar Series events through the 2004 season with
option for 2005.
The agreement also calls for an increase to a minimum of 13 events, which
will air on SPEED Channel's "Dirty Thursday" each season beginning in 2003.
Each show will also have a replay.
"The fans of 'Dirty Thursday' have made their voices heard through the
SPEED Message Boards, but more importantly, with solid ratings supporting

UDTRA officials will immediately commence scheduling events for the 2003
season at existing venues, and reach into new regions for the 13 televised
events on SPEED Channel's "Dirty Thursday."
The 2002 UDTRA SPEED Channel programming features 10 events. The next UDTRA
action on SPEED Channel will be a special Saturday night two-hour airing
September 21 at 8 p.m. ET with action from Cedar Lake Speedway in New
Richmond, WI and Crawford County Speedway in Denison, IA.
