RAIN POSTPONES UDTRA USA NATIONALS UNTIL SUNDAY AFTERNOON
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
NEW RICHMOND, WI - Severe weather and heavy rain on Saturday night just
before hot laps forced postponement of the United Dirt Track Racing
Association Pro DirtCar Series $40,000-to-win USA Nationals presented by
Lucas Oil until Sunday afternoon. Hot laps are scheduled for 11 a.m. with
racing set for 12 noon.
The UDTRA Pro DirtCar Series will run a pair of 20-lap Polaris ATVs
Consolation Races to fill in the 17th through 22nd starting spots, and a
100-lap main event in front of the SPEED Channel cameras. The first 16
starting positions were determined through heat race action on Friday night.
Local driver Brent Larson of Rosemont, MN earned the pole position on Friday
night, and Defending UDTRA Champion and current point leader Rick Eckert
York, PA will start the USA Nationals from the outside of the front row.
Eckert can win the USA Nationals presented by Lucas Oil, he will pick up
Great Northern Challenge $100,000 Bonus.
