Right you are, yenko2! You're really going to have a lot to pick from this year! I'm going to try to make it to LaSalle this year, but not sure about Kankakee or Macon. What can you tell me about Kankakee? Size of track? Racey? Grandstands? Thanks!

aukland the kankakee track is a super fast highbanked 1/4 fairgrounds type track. promoter is jimmy occonner a ex champion racer and he knows how to put on a show. if i where you i'd put kankakee on my schedule it will be one to watch. the track is located just off I-57 near kankakee about 40 miles south of chicago- about 120 from peoria. for more info.

I caught the UDTRA show in Pecatonica (Rockford) this past summer. Great show, I am going to try and catch what ever I can this summer.

its really too bad fairbury wouldnt try to put a event together with udtra around one of those other dates so that we could keep them in the area and everyone would benefit. I doubt they would take the chance however. With not many of the big boys in the area much it would surely be a crowd pleaser and fill the stands. Should be a great show at Kankakee.
