Hey everyone,
If you feel like being a nice person, and helping someone feel better, do me a favor.
The guy who runs a fine site for us in the midwest recently had a stroke. He is home now recuperating, just looking forward to all the crap we put on this board. Please wish Jack Taylor well, either by posting here, or take a few minutes and go to his site and post best wishes on the message board there. (of course check out the site)
Those of us that go to Danville IL, be it regularly or only on occasion (me) either have met Jack or have seen some of his handiwork in the Danville programs. There is only one part of his site with ads, the message board, which is done by someone else. The rest of the board is completely free of those annoying pop-up ads. It is a pretty comprehensive site for the midwest.

Please, do it today, and put a smile back on the face of one of the original good guys in the sport! And wish his lovely wife Carolyn all the best in dealing with the old fart until he can get back out of the house again!

Thank You!

That is too bad to hear, I met the whole family and crew that help out on the web site one weekend at an northern all star show at the Danville Speedway. They truly care about helping out the midwest racers. Cant wait to see them all again running around the pits gathering stories and photos for the site.

Best wishes to Jack. I have never had the pleasure of meeting him, and I must say, I have never been to Danville! But, any friend of racing in the midwest is a friend of mine!

Racenut, are you related to Truespeed? I sat next to him several years ago at the World 100. We had a nice visit.

I talked to Jack Thursday evening, and he is getting better. It seems he is having trouble typing, as his fingers cannot feel the keyboard(I wish I had that excuse) but his mind is sharp and sense of humor is still intact.

And, yes, Aukland fan, Truespeed is my son!
