Cable TV giant HBO Sports (Home Box Office) was on hand Friday at Attica to film a segment for their "Real Sports" show with Bryant Gumbal about sprint car racing. After the rainout, Attica owners Brad Cailor & Charlie Fisher and Attica GM Gene Frankart talked them in to coming back this next Friday for the "New Format Night I". They want to be on hand to watch our "history in the making"! Come out Friday and get on National Television," commented Brad Cailor.

Hopefully, they don't try to do a story like they did on NASCAR a few years ago. Great show, but they "load" some of their stories to tell only one side. (So do Dateline and other "magazine" shows)

The next Real Sports has a piece on Waltrip's Daytona 500 win. Check your listings for the times.
