I run a GRT dirt Late model on a 3/8 track. I am having trouble getting the car tight enough on entry on dry slick, any suggestions. Thanks !!

I think you mean remove left side %'s

More left side will free you up more.

Not giveing your spring selection and %'s its hard to say exactly what to try on your car, but in theroy a stiffer Right Rear spring will tighten you up into the corner, also removing wedge will help.

Now I am running 250 springs on the rear,a 3-5 shock on LR, and a 94 on the RR. Front shocks are 75's with a 500 spring on LF, and a 400 on the RF. 54.7 left, 54.4 rear, and about 160# of bite in the car when slick. The car is pretty good middle out, but is loose on entry. Thanks !!!!!

Get your LEft Side % down, If this doesn't help then I believe you have a bump steer or toe-out problem, it might also could be a heim are something binding?

Other than LS% being way high, that sucka should be **** to get in the corner. Could it be the driver is making it loose? Does the drive like to pitch the car? Teach the driver to enter the corner as straight as possible if this is the case.

another suggestion is to go to a 225 on the right rear and soften the right front as needed down to a 375 and then to a350 if needed.

To tighten a 4-bar on entry try moving the left side LOWER bar up one hole on the frame, this will limit the amount of roll steer and tighten the car in. We have used this several times on very dry, slick 3/8 mile ovals in Western Kentucky and have had sucess with it.

If you really want to tighten this car in ... Swing your RR brake caliper to the front of the housing. Trust you all will be doing this soon, Actually we all will probably have 3 of the 4 corners in front. Just a predication on something tested

I found that closing in the stagger to (4-4.25 in.) and sometimes dropping a pound or two out of the right rear seemed to help my car when the track got dry. However not all cars run the same so all you can do is try diffent things and see what helps you. Good Luck!!!
