Does anyone run a K&N Flow Control Air Cleaner? If not why not is there something
wrong with them? Do they not do what they say they do?

We run the flow control but make sure that your carb stud is big enough. The stud we used broke off and sent the unit flying. I have also heard that it will vibrate the stud loose. Don't have any dyno numbers so I can't help you there.

We ran one last year and was really impressed with it.Good power.alittle quicker off the corners, the only drawback we could find is that it doesn't fit under the hood on our late model well without a raised cowl

We're required to run a vacuum secondary carb., and have used a Flow Control for 2 years now. Only problem has been when tightening down nut on stud, the outer edges of the housing tends to expand away from the filter. K&N makes new clips for this problem and will send em to ya for free in some cases.I was amazed! Other than that, its worked fine.
