when running the coilover behind the LR axle, is there an advantage to running a dummy shock behind with spring and putting the real shock in front of axle. I have heard of using this method as opposed to running actual shock with spring behind axle.

I think Jammin is on the right track. I ran that once last season, but I didn't index my bird cage, and when the shock travel ran out the car wanted to come around fast. I think most shock manufacturers make a one inch extention to help that problem.
