anyone know where to buy one like this, it has a lockout on the shifter so you don't have to run the stock bert one. GRT sells it for $80.

Lou Fegers sells a locking shifter also. Think the price is around $70.

I just put my BERT tranny in my jet mod, and i have no idea how to hook my shifter to the BERT shifter. So i was thinking of removing it, untill i saw this post

Will the car not stay in high gear without the lockout?

Ive always had a muncie trans, so this is all new to me.

Woody44, I used the Speedway Motors shifter with the Bert one but it works backwards. I've seen the lockout shifters in other modsa before so I thought about getting one and not using the Bert one!

How did you hook the shifter to the BERT shifter?

The BERT shifter is not at all in line with the shifter in the car.

But its so close to it that the angle is too severe to hook the two together( if that makes sense) it would just be in a bind.
