There is no such thing as a 2bbl or Canadian cast iron intake that is made for Vortec heads.
The older style intake ports won't line up properly with Vortec heads even tho you can drill and tap the heads so they'll bolt up.

Just an "FYI" there...

The only cast iron intake made that is not a TBI intake is a 4bbl quadrajet pattern intake
that bears a GM casting number but is made in China.
There are (I'm told) marine intakes that are used on Mercruiser engines with Vortec heads that will work. No clue on price or availability (or whether they're even legal or not).

Hope that helps.

I bought mine from Sallee Chevrolet in Oregon. $185.00. Found them online, it's a Quad pattern straight down bolt intake, yes cast in China and prob. machined in U.S. It isn't very tall, so I run 1 inch spacer and adapter. You will want to clean the ports or have someone else do it. Mine needed a good gasket matching to say the least. Did it myself with a dremel and did all I could reach. Part #14097499, this is NOT a good Chevy part #. Intake gasket Fel-Pro 1255.
