I am in the process of developing a new line of race scales. I am trying to make it so every team can afford to have a set. They will utilize 4 - 12"x12" 1500lb aluminum pads. The pads will connect to your home computer or laptop. Not much processing power will be needed so just about any old pc will do. All of your readouts will be displayed in a program on the computer, 4 wheel weights, percentages, and totals all at the same time, with the ability to be able to date and save your weights and make notes so that you can come back to them later.
SOOOO,,,tell me what you think. Sound like a good idea? Would you buy one for somewhere around $600-$700? I am working to try to get the price as low as possible. All replies are welcome!

If you can make that for under $700, I thnk you would sell a lot of scales. Speedway's dial scales cost $600 for 4. That would be great to put the car on the scales and automatically get the crossweight, percentages, ect. If I didn't blow all my money on racing, I'd want to invest.

What all would come in kit just the 4 pads?
Would be nice if you could get them to $100
per pad.
