Got a bomber or hobby stock for sale, cheap. Metric car. It hasn't ran as a hobby stock but wouln't need much. It was a feature winner at door county last year. Everything but motor I mean everything. Seat guages cell. Even an extra tranny. One needs a rebuild. You would only need a motor. The frame is bent a little in the rear but doesn't affect the hadling of the car. Very consistant runner. Was tied for the lead in points for a while until took one night off. Would like $500. You can't beat it. The guages, cell, and seat are worth a lot more than that. It is a deal.

Is the rear half of the frame still stock or is it made out of 2x3 tubing. On my cars I build the back half out of 2x3 to be sure that it is a sturdy frame for the fuel cell.

It is a stock frame all the way around the car. We have done tubing to the rear only when the frame is rotted out. IT was pretty solid so we didn't think it was needed. The roll cage is a four point with all the gussets in. The car is wanged up a little but still very raceable.

What engine tranny combo did you use to win? Is there lead in the car. What about springs and shocks? stock or Aftermarket.

I used a stock 350 chevy engine out of a pickup truck. Didn't even rering it. It smoked pretty good with heavy oil so I had to use 10w30. I ran just a stock rochester carb two barril. A turbo 350 tranny and a 241 gear. Stock springs And carrera shocks. It worked just fine.
