run whichever class you can afford but dont get over your head and go for the fastest class because thats the fastest way to get alot of people a little upset if you cant keep it under control. just know your limitions on driving and check book.

Go to the track that your going to run and buy a used competitive car. It will save you money and alot of headaches.

Try a mini-stock,great place to start out,not overly expensive,{cheaper than go-karts}a real good way to get started!!good luck!!!

i agree with dirttracker i would start with the mini stock because they are alot slower and are much safer. if you do good at those move up to a bigger class but as soon as you start spending to much money get out of it.

id have to agree with all these guys... mini stock are great to start with, but sometimes you can maybe get an old hobby/pure stock for pretty cheap. just look around, im sure you'll find something... good luck man
