I don't know how many of you fellas on the board race mods at Batesville, but I heard that Mooney decided to switch over to the UMP tire rule for the mods. Just in case ya didn't know.

My thoughts exactly. I think Mooney may have shot himself in the foot on this one. I bet the modified car count at the surrounding tracks will go up now.

This is a horrible idea. No thanks Mooney will loose our money this year. That track goes dry dry dry during the world mod show.
Cars will be destroying that D-40 RR. The guys with the bucks will just keep puttin new ones on.
The McCreary tire does a better job of keeping an even playing if it all possible.
No Thanks, i am sure the Mississipi Mods or an IMCA track will be running that same weekend or we just wont race.
Once you bring out the Hoosier it will only be a matter of time when things will get out of hand.
Talked to 4 racers in SE MO and they will be pulling down to MS to race or anywhere they run McCrearys instead there local tracks which have just switched to UMP or UMP tire rule. I have ran both and I know my tire bill has only gone up with the Hoosiers. No thanks
