I saw Justin Boney at Belleville and he looked like he was on a rail, very, very fast and smooth.I saw him at Oskaloosa and he looked like he had never driven a car before,I think he hit everything, moving or not moving, car was jacked up out of shape 100% of the time,I think Boney would be hard to beat if he had the car set-up where he was smooth.I am not the only person that noticed this either.

The Jet is always fast & he's a good driver, but with a budget like his , he can afford to drive a little harder and take more chances than alot of other racers.

Yeah right! Maybe at I-30, but did you see Charlie take Brooks out at the topless race year before last after Brooks passed him. He just couldnt take an azz whooping like a man. As for Brown thats just a joke, if he comes to Batesville even I pass him like he is on the trailer. A good racecar driver can take a bad car and win with it. Watch Andy miss his setup, he is just another also ran. I would take Chuck McGinty over Andy.

this is a very hard question to answer i think. there are alot of good drivers out there. i personally think that chad lyle or kelly is the best right now. but that is my opinion and i am not always right. i think that the next big one will be either tim karrick or a local guy named terry shultz he is getting good and getting there fast. but who knows who is the overall best.

I'd have to say around here(Britt,Algona, Mason City, Iowa) would be Mark Noble and Kevin Stoa. Kevin Stoa is awesome to watch at about every track I see him at. Definitely when he starts in the back, he always seems to end up near the front.

Kinda new to racing only been in on it a couple years. In my opinion, the best in my area (NW Missouri) is Dean Wray. Over 15 feature wins just last season. Best rookie driver would have to go to his son, Cory. Ran a B-mod at Winston and won 10 features last year, only 16 yrs. old! On a higher level, John VanDenBurg (sp.) had the best show of driving abilities at the USMTS Fall Nationals at Winston Speedway in October. Flipped in the heat race, and ended up winning the heat, drew front row outside of the feature, and won the $5,000. GREAT SHOW OF DRIVING!

dean is great. cory is good but needs a little work. i raced against corey and he is hard to beat but does mistakes. he is on his way to being great though. he is hard to beat and will be harder in the future.
great guy to race against. always gives room and drives clean.

I will agree, Cory does make mistakes, everybody does...but where else is there a 17 year old driver that went straight into a modified (B-mod), and wins 10 features in 1 season, beating out men that have raced these cars for years. He has a great teacher, great equipment, and great help! Cory is going to be an exceptional race car driver, and I can't wait to see him in Victory Lane once again this year!

hey motormamma do you race at winston or just a big fan. i really like that track. it is nice smooth and dryslick. just he way a track shoud be. i drove the 0x b-mod. it was ok. i mean i just started in a mod and the motor was out ofa street stock from warrensburg and the chassis was a 93 asphalt dirt combo car with the asphalt set up(panhard bar and stuff came with car did not have money to put dirt j-bar or anyhting or even tires less than about 25 races old, got them used,on it) i think i did pretty good for my equipment and being a 18 year old college student on a tight budget, not to mention doing all the set up work on my car. i will agree corey is going to be great!

Well this is kinda a personal favorite as well as the best in this area. I would have to say Bobby Layne or Richard Layne.. About equal these days. At a 2,000 to win race at cms this year Richard laped up to the 9th place car I think which one of those cars was Bone Jr.

i think the top two gotta be kelly shyrock and mark noble, and throw in willy kraft, jason hughes, john louge. and one that doesn't get as much national attention any more cause he doesn't run as much as he used to would be the old driver of the first speedway kit chassis danny wallace
