Henry Witt, Jr. of Waco won his second I.M.C.A. modified feature in a row Friday night at the Heart O’ Texas Speedway. Ronnie Warren from Oglesby took second, and Chase Glick from Buffalo was third.Sam Sovey from Waco covered the I-stock field to claim the feature win over Jason Bogard from Killeen and Benji Kirkpartick of Elm Mott.Visiting hot stock Dennie Geiber from Troup went from last place to first to win the feature. Sid Kiphen from Oglesby finished second, and Ritchie Robins of Lorena placed third.Axtell’s Shannon Dulock held off Mark Geurin from Whitney and Chris Cogburn of Waco to win the street stock main race.Timmy Kemp from Bellmead led Robert Black from Hallsburg and Steven Carter from Waco to Victory Lane in the pure stock feature. Phillip Harmon of Clifton led a front pack of four cars to the checkered flag for the mini stock feature win. Shane Smith of Waco was second, and Steve Moore of Axtell took third.Cruiser feature winner Michael Haisler from Elm Mott took the lead on the last lap to best Jerry Whatley and Brody Honea from Waco.Robert Mounce from Speegleville collected his second winner’s trophy in a row in the junior mini stock race. Bugs Drake from Lott was second, and Zac Zearfoss from Austin ran third. Next Friday, March 29, will mark the first appearance of the season of the I.M. C. A. sprint cars. I.M.C.A. modifieds, I-stocks, street stocks, pure stocks, cruisers, and junior mini stocks will also be competing.
