AERO doubles I.M.C.A. contingency package for Modifieds, Stocks, Hobbies
VINTON, Iowa (March 7) - AERO Race Wheels will send holiday greetings to I.M.C.A. drivers in the form of prod-uct certificates to be awarded over the Memorial Day and Fourth of July weekends.
The Estherville, Iowa-based race wheel manufacturer is doubling its contingency award program for the I.M.C.A. Modified, Stock Car and Hobby Stocks in the process, to more than $30,000.
AERO will award $25 product certificates to the fifth-place finisher in features for the three divisions over the course of the Memorial Day weekend.
There will be more fireworks for drivers who win main events during the Fourth of July weekend. They'll earn $100 product certificates, good toward the purchase of four AERO wheels.
Certificates will be awarded to drivers at race tracks running regular Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday programs fol-lowing the two holiday weekends.
In addition, the top 10 drivers in the final national standings for the Modifieds, Stock Cars and Hobby Stocks will re-ceive $100 product certificates, also good toward the purchase of four wheels from AERO.
"We have tried to target more programs toward each individual sanctioned race track and this program is designed to do just that," said I.M.C.A. Marketing Director Kevin Yoder. "We are very grateful to Wayne Redmond and AERO to be able to develop a program of this magnitude."
While the AERO contingency program has changed, the basic rule for eligibility has not: Drivers must display two AERO decals on their race cars to receive the product certificates.
