Just don't get proban, that is a cotton suit treated with chemicals to make it fire resistive for a while, till you wash it out. Get a nomex suit.

As for where, hang out with the locals at your favorite track. They'll be able to hook you up with a local distributor. That way you can be properly measured and fitted from helmet to shoes and everything in between. A good fit is very important. Invest in yourself and get the whole package, a three layer suit, racing shoes, gloves, etc. Safety first. Consider one of the new helmet restraint devices. They start at around $300. When you get a car together, ask a veteran driver to help you mount the seat and belts. There is a right way and a whole lot of wrong ways for mounting. Oh, start out with new belts. They will be easier to operate than ones that have gone to the car wash for two years. I'll stop there. Just don't cut corners on safety. Good luck.

Sorry, I don't know what to tell you about being a Gordon fan.Hehehe

Gordon,

Check out Wesco performance.

I have not used them yet, but I have heard they are a good deal.

Prices are real good.
