hey folks. I am wanting to build a pure stock and its gonna be a ford, there are not any at my local track and i want to burn some chevys up. I was wondering if you some of you run a ford and what kind of car to use? I want to run either a 351w or 302 ho with roller cam and factory forged pistons. The minimum wheelbase is 108''. Any help would be very much be appreciated. Thanks

We use a 76 Torino with the 351w. Another option you have is to get a 302 and make a 347 stroker out of it. It is about 50 lbs lighter then a sbc 350. No one around here tuns fords either that is why we built it. We also have a early 70's ltd that we are building although it is a little long. I woudl say look for something like an early 70's ltd or torino. Any of those style of cars should do well for ya.
