that is not going to gain very much if any at all. if you want too, try to put some spring buckets in the front of the car or to lower the rear of the car just alittle at a time by way of the rear shackles or just adding it to the rear of the car with some type of mounted or bolted weight.

Is your battery already behind you? If not move it to the trunk, and by the way, lowering the ride height of both sides in the rear shouldn't change your weight at all,
You can change one side OR the other to get more traction on a particular side but lowering both sides just make you look silly on the track. Just to help a bit more, the side you "lower" will have less weight on it.

Have fun and good luck,

well we did it and have ran twice and won both heat and feature this year. it may look silly but it works. have done it on a nova chassis and a metric chassis and a full size chassis. have won with all cars with this setup even won a championship and over 23 races in one season at one track. in any case good luck and have fun. street stock c17 charlie norris

The only true way to gain rear % is to physically move weight or to add weight to the rear. Any thing over 50% rear for a stock car is really good. The older cars (Mid 70's Chevelles, Cameros etc) is easier to gain rear % because of where the engine is located in respect to the front axle line.
BTW Hi Charlie.

Charlie after 3 or 4 years in the building he's getting close. With a little help he may just make it late this year. We'll have Russ's new car out Tues at HOT. Fired it last night and got the chassis set.

See ya there.
Jim
