i have two sets of manifolds. one set is your typical log rear dumps (low performance passenger car stuff). the other set is off of a 305 i am told. they exit the cylinder head and turn upward, and then rear dump. someone told me these are better and flow better because they turn upward where they bolt on to the heads. anybody think they're better?

I haven't heard any data to support that, I was told that the older chevy center dump manifolds were the cats meow. course thats only what I was told. again, no data to support it.

If you are referring to the ones that use the 3rd bolt hole on drivers side i'd say definitely no the log's are third best regular ram horns next and corvette 2 1/2 ram horns for best flow, although i hear talk that some newer 1 ton trucks have some that flow well too.
