Has anyone had trouble using an all aluminum flywheel? I run a 3 speed in 2nd. What kind of longevity can you expect without the steel insert? I run an all steel one now and want to shed rotating weight. If the all alum. won't last long, I'll buy one with the insert. Thanks.

Hey Fastrack1, where can I get this lighter and cheaper set-up? 10,000 RPM, maybe?

Aluminum is OK with an organic disk. Mettalic disks require the one with the insert.
