I run a 10 bolt 7.5" rearend on a "77 Nova. I have boke a couple of axles and ran out of my spares. I'm having trouble finding interchangable axles. Can you help and let me know if and what the differences are between mine and a metric frame 7.5 are? If not the same then what other cars can I aquire these axles.

your nova should be a 8.5 rear end if i rember right they didn'y come out with 7.5 untill 78 i could be wrong tho but i know the 75 nova rear end i ran was a 8.5 your best bet would be to get a hardened axle they are a little pricey but compared to a new car after a stock one breaks and you roll it's not to bad

I had that problem too but what I did is ordered a axle from moser for $115+SH and in the long run it saved me money after buying junk yard axles for $40 apiece.

I run mosers in my 10 bolt,no problems and they will drill them to any pattern you want,no extra charge
