How do you vent your fuel cell? I've used a rubber hose that ends below the bottom of the cell, the idea being that if the car gets on its top the vent hose is above the fuel level in the cell. Any suggestions? Thanks!

posted October 06, 2002 09:02 AM most classes require A check valve in case of rollover so no fuel would leak anyway and #2 with the hose below the fuel cell if you fill it too full you will have fuel leaking when you are right side up you will see alot of cars getting blacked flag for leaking fuel because of this i run a hose from the check vale up under where the speakers used to go then i either put a filter on the end or a pcv valve

My fuel cell has an AN8 male fitting for the vent so I just clamped one of those 5/8" mini breather filters from Day Motorsports onto it.
