Does anyone run a truck in pure stock type classes? At tracks around here they allow small trucks to be used (S-10s and Rangers). S-10s meet all of the rules and have a 108" wheelbase. AND, they use the same front end components as the metric cars! I think i can make it lighter overall. So the way i see it if i can play around with the springs and weight distribution i should be able to be a step ahead of the competition. SHOULD.

unfortunately we are not allowed to use weight jacks or lowering blocks. the class is VERY pure stock. we have to use a standard bore 305 a automatic tranny. there isn't much that we can change to make it handle better. but i have a few ideas for getting weight further back. hopefully some of them will work.
