We're allowed to run a beadlock on the right rear this year, has anyone tried a bead lock kit? I have several extra wheels available for conversion. How tuff is it? Do they work? Or would it be better just to buy one?
Thanks!

Wheel should be straight and If you are learning how to weld, I would have an experienced welder do that. You will have to cut a portion of the bead off the rim, I believe too. but don't quote me on that.

I've never tried the beadlock kit but I've got a few friends that use them and they seem pretty good. But like he said make sure the wheel is straight and you got a good experience welder doing the work. Personally I'd buy a new beadlock.
