We run a Bomber class in Ohio, last night in our class we seen a Metric body car with a Leaf spring suspension in the rear, Has anyone done this before and if so I would like to hear some details for this, cause we like that setup, And no it wasn t a Camaro frame, with a metric body either ! It was a metric frame with a leaf suspension!

Thanks !

Do your rules allow that? I'm not sure if our rules allow that at our track. If so, leafs are the better choice from what everyone says. How did the car do?

Hey bud try asking Pickel i believe thats his car under the street stock picks and it looks as if he has leafs on his metric, personally i prefer the leafs over coils any day. Eddie

S-10 pickup is a metric chassis with leaf rear.

The S-10 frame does not drop down in the middle so your seat would be about 3 feet off the ground.

Yes that is me and yes I do have leaf springs on a metric frame. It's very simple to set up with leaf springs and the car handles quite well. Just sent jammin this years pic.

Nope, your wrong there guy. A seville is not a full frame car. It is the same as a nova.

We ran an 82 regal with leafs on the @$$ end. Had a steal I beam welded in the trunk area between the rails that they mounted to0. Never had a prob with the handles just the motors.

The most important thing to remember is that while going faster than everyone is the point..Sometimes turning left helps.

the late 70's are what u want they are totally diferent than a nova but they may be a little heavy but hey if u have to run a full frame and u want leaf springs it's about the only way to go.
