My car is very loose coming off the corners, It is soo bad the back-end wants to slide all the way to the top as if the rear tires are not bitting at all.
I have tried everything else except for my pioion angle on the rearend. It could be possible it is off cause I change the 7.5 to an 8.5 in my 80 Monte.
What are some of your opions? Am I looking in the right place or should I try something else?
Thanks in advance. ( by the way the track has been dry/slick)

I don't think its from going to 7.5 to 8.5 because my monte is the same way and I had to loosen that car up a bunch to get it to turn I had too much bite. Do you have your sway bar off. What are you spring rates, shocks, percentages, etc.
Try mounting some lead high up on the back to get more rear % and body roll. Unless you've tried it already.

I'd check that pinion angle. I gave my coil springer more pinion angle last year and it really helped it hook up. If you do this by shortening upper links like I did, you have to be careful not to go too far. I've seen this cause wheel hop going in.
Also, when you went to an 8.5, did you also change gear ratios?--if you are running a lower gear (higher final drive number) it may be that you need to adjust your driving style and be a little more gentle with the throttle.
Hope this helps.
